War and countless forms of dispute have permeated the history of Colombia. When the war broke out in Ukraine in March 2022, the threat of war also became tangible in Europe. In his script «TÁCITO» Juan Carlos imaginarily recreates that tacit subject that was and is violence in a disturbing day of hiking in Germany.
About the author
Born in Colombia, Juan Carlos Bautista Prieto graduated in Directing from the Bogota National Film School, where he makes both documentary and fiction short films with great masters. She collaborates with filmmaker Oscar Ruiz Navia as a research and editing assistant. He participates with his feature film script «Quimera» in the young talents section of the Latin American audiovisual market (FLICC) in Mexico City. In 2020 she is an editing assistant for the feature film “Among us women” by Sarah Noa Bozenhardt. He is currently studying editing at the Konrad Wolf German Film Academy.
