In her screenplay UN GOLPE DE AMOR, Ana depicts the economic bubble of the year 2000 in a provincial Spanish town. At the height of the neoliberal boom, Arancha is 16 years old and works in a supermarket so that she can afford the best parties. Her love of techno takes her to the limits of the imaginable.
About the author
Born in Avilés (Spain), Ana is a screenwriter and works in the field of cultural management. After more than thirteen years dedicated to storytelling for brands and advertising agencies, she decided to take the plunge into fiction writing by completing a Master’s degree in Screenwriting at Grupo Mediapro, the production company where she currently works. Her film projects have been selected for the Gijón Film Festival 2020 and 2021, Novos Cinemas 2021 and the CIMA Impulsa 2023 programme.
