About the author
Born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Silvina is the artistic director of Houshamadyan, a multimedia memory book about Ottoman-Armenian history. She took part in the Armenian pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale with her work, which was awarded the Golden Lion. In 2022, she received the Falkenrot Prize from Künstlerhaus Bethanien and production funding from the Berlin Senate. She has lived in Berlin since 1988.
