
Camila Ampuero
Born in Lima (Peru), Camila has a Master’s degree in fiction scriptwriting for film and television from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. She has been a coordinator at the Lima Film Festival and works in audiovisual production. She wrote and directed the plays “Noche de Hormigas”, “El Meñique” and the short film “La importante de un sofá”.
In her screenplay LA COSA ES CLARA, the author explores with nostalgia and humor the friendship between two thirty-year-old women. Clara cannot find meaning in her days. Her friend Jimena must face the challenge of understanding and accompanying her through her particular existential crisis.
