Berlín Neverland

Cindy cannot sink any lower, the pandemic finds her illegal in Berlin and she must live in the bathroom of the house of Eero, a German man in his fifties, who pays her to clean and deal drugs. From Mexico comes Malú, her recently separated mother who hides the fact that she has lost everything. She goes in search of Cindy but the girl avoids telling her the truth, until everything comes to light in the worst way. When it seems all is lost, Cindy will take back the reins of her life.

About the author

Born in Mexico and living in Berlin, Laura Soria is a creative director and photographer. She studied Communication Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She uses photography and video, among other media, as research tools and enjoys exploring the human body as a home, as a concept. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Mexico, USA, France, UK and Germany, such as Willy Brandt Haus in Berlin, Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico and German Historical Institute in London.
