Synopsis

When one has emigrated and begins to put down roots elsewhere, any move is a lose-lose: bad if you go back, bad if you stay. When Julia decides to leave Berlin, Helena, her best friend and housemate, says goodbye. The friends have already lost the fight to stay together and are now going through a mourning that we will only see the last moments of.

About the author

Miguel Angel Guzmán Ojeda was born in Mexico City and has lived in Berlin for more than six years. He holds a degree in Acting from the ITAM and currently works as a data analyst. As a filmmaker he directed and wrote the short film «Potato potato» and «Mail-bag», his second project as script writer and director is currently in post-production.
